Cerebral ischemia is when blood flow to the brain is reduced. UCSF is conducting a clinical trial called "Stroke Recovery Initiative - Registry for Stroke Research Studies". It connects people who have had a stroke with researchers who are studying stroke recovery. Joining this registry may help improve stroke treatment in the future.

The Stroke Recovery Initiative is a nation-wide participant recruitment registry that connects people who have had a stroke with researchers who are working to develop new approaches to improve recovery after stroke.
