Idiopathic hypersomnia causes excessive sleepiness during the day without a known reason. UCSF is studying a new drug called ALKS 2680 to test its safety and if it can reduce daytime tiredness. This clinical trial is recruiting people who have been diagnosed with idiopathic hypersomnia.
