Knee cartilage injury is when the cushion between your knee bones gets damaged. UCSF is recruiting participants for a clinical trial to compare NOVOCART 3D and Microfracture treatments for knee cartilage defects. The trial evaluates efficacy based on pain and function, and will also test safety.

    This study is to compare NOVOCART 3D relative to Microfracture for the treatment of knee cartilage defects. Efficacy will be evaluated by both pain and function. Safety will also be evaluated.
