Postoperative Outcome clinical trials at UCSF
1 research study open to eligible people
Postoperative outcomes are the results people experience after surgery. UCSF is testing problem solving therapy for older adults having major surgery to see if it helps them recover better. These trials help us understand how different treatments might improve recovery after surgery.
BRSR: Feasibility and Acceptability Pilot
open to eligible people ages 65 years and up
The goal of this clinical trial is to test problem solving therapy (PST) in older adults who are undergoing major surgery. The main question it aims to answer is: • What is the feasibility and acceptability of delivering PST to older surgical patients with depressive symptoms or report lacking social support in the pre-operative and post-operative setting?
