Renal function is how well the kidneys remove waste and keep fluid levels steady. UCSF is collecting blood and medical data from people with kidney transplants. Researchers will analyze the information to study transplant health and kidney function.
Blood Collection Study in a Kidney Transplant Population
open to eligible people ages 18 years and up
The purpose of this research is to collect blood samples and data from kidney transplant patients. The samples and data will be used for research and development of non-invasive test to detect donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA) in kidney transplant patients to evaluate the status of the transplanted organ.
