Venous Reflux clinical trials at UCSF
1 research study open to eligible people
Venous reflux is when blood flows backwards in the veins of the legs. There is a clinical trial at UCSF called "C-TRACT" that is testing a treatment strategy to reduce pain and swelling caused by venous reflux. The trial is investigating if using image-guided, endovascular therapy (EVT) can be effective in reducing post-thrombotic syndrome symptoms.
open to eligible people ages 18 years and up
The purpose of this study is to determine if the use of image-guided, endovascular therapy (EVT) is an effective strategy with which to reduce Post Thrombotic Syndrome (PTS) disease severity and improve quality of life in patients with established disabling iliac-obstructive post thrombotic syndrome (DIO-PTS).
