Sedation clinical trials at UCSF
1 research study open to eligible people
Sedation is when medicine helps you relax or fall asleep during a medical procedure. UCSF has a clinical trial that uses virtual reality (VR) to help children relax during kidney biopsies instead of medicine. The goal is to see if VR can work as well as medicine or even better. Participating in this trial may help doctors find new ways to keep kids calm during procedures.
